Come experience the best fishing the Finger Lakes have to offer!

Labor Day is in the rearview mirrow!  Fall fishing in Central NY features uncrowded waterways, good to great fishing and insane colors (peaking in mid-October.)   Here's what I have available in September:

Mondays:   Sept. 20th, 27th

Wednesdays:  Sept. 8th, 15th, 29th

Saturdays:  Sept. 11th PM, 25th

Sundays:  Sept. 12th AM, 26th AM

Cayuga Lake:  Good to great fishing continues on Cayuga!  Around 85' to 105' has been best for us lately.  Laker are feeding very heavily and there are tons of baitfish around!   Browns and salmon remain in the mix!   Yellow perch are hitting well in 20' - 25' of water.

Keuka Lake:  Laker fishing wasn't fast and furious for us on Sunday, but I'd chalk a lot of that up to the unsettled weather and winds.   We managed nearly 1/2 dozen fish.  The next two months should usher in some peak fishing!  This lake WILL produce!

Skaneateles Lake:  Smallmouth bass fishing continues to be productive.   Green pumpkin tube jigs, superflukes and dropshot rigs are all working well!   Plenty of nice sized rockbass are in the mix - "release to the grease!"

If you LOVE to fish, why not treat yourself to a custom rod!  Life's too short to use conventional tackle!     Mike Canavan's jigging rods are the best out there;  he can build a rod tailored to your specifications, whether you want it for perch fishing, laker jigging, crankin' or whatever.   Contact Mike via email at flytier@hotmail.com
